The International Committee for Monitoring ART has invited Professsor Eman Elgindy from Egypt and Dr Ibrahim Wada from Nigeria to join the Committee as regional representative and special advisor respectively. Professor Eman, Director of the Egypt IVF Registry, and Dr Ibrahim Wada, Chairperson of the AFFS Data Committee, are highly renowned and respected colleagues in Africa who have made very significant contributions to ART in our region. Together with Professor Silke Dyer, the Clinical Data Director of ICMART, Africa is well represented within ICMART. ICMART strongly values representation from and connection with world regions as a way to build, strengthen and harmonize national, regional and global ART monitoring.
