ANARA team members Dr Paversan Archary and Liezel Potgieter visited 10 ART centres in Accra, Tema and Kumasi. Acquaintances were made, friendships forged and ANARA’s mission was welcomed and discussed at length.

The Fertility Society of Ghana (FERSOG) conference, in collaboration with the International Federation of Fertility Societies (IFFS), led by the president of FERSOG, Dr Edem Hiadzi, presented a varied and rich programme - The Management of Infertility and Assisted Conception.

Delegates were fortunate to be welcomed by Her Excellency, the First Lady of Ghana, Mrs Rebecca Akufo-Addo. Speakers included Emeritus Prof Giwa-Osagie, Dr Richard Kennedy, Chair of the Scientific Committee of the IFFS, Dr Mark Hamilton, Course Director of IFFS Education Committee and Dr Edgard Mocanu, IFFS President Elect.
