Leaders of Reproductive Networks in Africa meet at the ESHRE conference in Vienna to strengthen relationships and discuss regional collaboration. In a very successful meeting ANARA is recognized and endorsed as the African network of ART centres and, through the Registry, as the data voice of ART in Africa. The African Fertility Society will go forward as a federation hence being the network of fertility societies. ANARA and AFFS will continue to function independently of each other but in a spirit of collaboration and mutual support. A joint conference facilitated by SASREG (South African Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy and Reproductive Medicine), ANARA and AFFS is now planned for April 2020 in Cape Town.
